Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kolhapur (KVK) invited applications for the post of Sr. Scientist & Head and Other Posts. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format within 15 days (11 June 2016) from the date of publication of the advertisement.

Under KVK, Kolhapur Recruitment 2016, out of total 05 posts, 02 posts are allotted to Subject Matter Specialist, 01 post is allotted to Sr. Scientist & Head, 01 post for Farm Manager and 01 post is allotted to Stenographer.

Eligibility for Sr. Scientist & Head- For Disciplines other than Engineering subject Doctoral degree in relevant subject including relevant basic sciences with 8 years experience in relevant subject Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position the pay band-3 of `.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of `.5400/ `6000/ `.7000/ `.8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension as evidence by published work/innovations and impact. b) For Engineering disciplines : Doctoral degree in relevant Agricultural engineering subject with 6 years experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of of `.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of `5400/ `6000/ `.7000/ `.8000 having made contribution to research / teaching / extension education as evidence by published work / innovations and impact. OR Master’s degree in the relevant agricultural engineering subject with 10 years experience as Scientist / Lecturer / Extension Specialist or in an equivalent position in the pay band-3 of `.15600-39100 with Grade Pay of `.5400/ `.6000/ `.7000/ `.8000 having made contribution to research /teaching / extension education as evidenced by published work / innovative and impact

Eligibility for Subject Matter Specialist Agril. Extension- Master’s degree in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University

Eligibility for Subject Matter Specialist Home Science- Master’s degree in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University

Eligibility for Farm Manager - : Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field or equivalent qualifications from a recognized University.

Eligibility for Stenographer- Intermediate / PUC from the recognized State Board University and Knowledge of Computer. Professional Efficiency: The candidates will be given one dictation test in English or Hindi at 80 w.p.m. for 10 minutes. The candidates who opt to take the test in English will be required to transcribe the matter in 65 minutes on manual typewriter or 50 minutes on computer and the candidates who opt to take the test in Hindi will be required to transcribe the matter in 75 minutes on manual typewriter or 65 minutes on computer
